A professional disc jockey, Tamera was the main DJ for Donald Trump’s birthday party at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City in June 2007 hosted by Carmen Electra. She has DJ’d the Pamela Anderson hosted Mac Cosmetics Fashion Week launch party in New York, along with and the after party for the J-lo and Marc Anthony concert. She has appeared on E!’s reality TV show The Girls Next Door, in the Miami based magazine Ocean Drive, in the online dance music magazine Maxumi, in addition to being the front-page feature in New York’s Missbehave magazine. This set was constructed in the studio at my direction by set designer Liz Stewart and John Cranham, set builder. Building elaborate and detailed sets, lit with as many as 40 strobe lights, became a mainstay of Playboy Playmate productions with my arrival as a Playboy photographer. These are one of a kind sets, never to be done again in still photography…the cost is too much, time for construction and lighting takes too much time, and everything can be changed and modified within the current use of Photoshop. For Playboy, the image, as it appeared in-camera, that was being sent to Hef for approval had to be perfect. In this particular picture every light was set and colored, …there is no image manipulation in this photograph. Disclaimers and excuses were unacceptable. There was never a “we’ll fix it in PhotoShop” mentality.
